At Shop1Local, we are driven by a commitment to supporting parish residents and helping small businesses—just like ours—thrive in the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape. Founded by the owner of a marketing agency, a senior full-stack web developer, and a management consultant—Donnie Bell, Neal Breeding, and Joe Osborne—our mission is to make it easier for local communities to discover the products and services they need while empowering small businesses to reach more potential customers through easy-to-use digital marketing tools.

With over two decades of combined experience, our founders have worked with hundreds of businesses, crafting custom websites, branding strategies, local search marketing campaigns, and numerous business management consulting services. Drawing from their experience running companies like Donnie Bell Design and North Louisiana Business Solutions, they understand the unique challenges small business owners face when trying to navigate the digital world.

At its core, Shop1Local is a platform designed to bring back the simplicity of finding products and services offered by local businesses, making it easier for communities to connect. On top of that, digital marketing has become so complex that only companies with extensive resources can navigate it effectively—and that’s just not fair. Shop1Local solves this problem with customizable subscriptions to our hyper-local advertising model and custom marketing services, specifically tailored for medium to small businesses, self-employed individuals, and entrepreneurs.

Since 2019, we have been gathering insights and refining the solutions that became Shop1Local.com. Inspired by the needs of small business owners we’ve worked closely with over the years, and by listening to their concerns about cost, accessibility, and our communities’ needs, we developed a promotional platform that makes it simple to publish and discover goods and services in your local community.

Donnie is the founder and owner of Donnie Bell Design (DBD), a Ruston, Louisiana-based design studio established in 2007. With over 20 years of experience, Donnie has dedicated his career to helping businesses succeed through graphic design, branding, and promotional marketing. Under his leadership, DBD has become known for delivering consistent branding, intelligent web design, and effective digital marketing solutions, all backed by unparalleled service and support. Donnie’s honest and direct approach has been instrumental in achieving the best outcomes for his clients efficiently and confidently.
